Tumblr is social media, so if you DON'T want followers, then it's not the right place to post your photos. I don't think it has any ways to block followers, since it's making the assumption if you're blogging, you want them!

Only reason I used tumblr for photo blogging is because it has a much better layout/page than picture storing site like flickr and photobucket. It lets you look at picture fully and I like that. I'm not stupid, I wouldn't just post it randomly on public for no reason. Report Abuse

Tumblr, those who know about it or use it? What is it exactly? Is it like a photo blog or actual blog provider, because I've just seen people posting pics and that's it with very little or no text so is that what its Just for or what do others do on it, or what do you use it for? Also, i skimmed terms and conditions but didn't see find anything about posting pictures that don't belong to yourself, anyone able to make this more clear to me on their rules? Thanks

Well, it's like a blogspot. But you can do things called reblogging and liking/faving. It's way cooler than blogspot, to me. You can upload anything, -whether if it's your actual photo/video/voice or not- there are no such a copyright thing. Well thats it, i guess.
