Where can I find a free blog hosting site for pictures/videos? I want to start a blog, with more pictures/video than text so family members other distances can see what my family has been up to this summer. I tried using Google's blogger.COM, But it’s more for text and only displays one picture at a time. Hotmail has a great hosting with photo reel, but only members of hotmail can view it… And they’ve to go through some sign up service that some of the older family members don't want to deal with. Is there a site out there that’s a marriage of the two— photo/video album with a place to add blog? Thanks!

Fotki is a great photo sharing tool. It has regular blogging (journal) options, and allows hot linking to other blogs. You can also comment on photos in an album (or an album for that matter) for a blog like experience. It also has probably the cheapest price for prints on the web at nine cents for a 4×6 print. If you want your fotki page to be ad free they’ve a pro plan for 30/yr. This is a really great deal for a lot of reasons. With the pro plan you can FTP your images up or down (a great way to to retrieve them if you have a drive failure or loss), you can sell your photos at any price (fotki sends you a check or paypal payment for the difference of print costs), and you can have an obscene amount of space (I currently have thirty-four GB of photos). There are a lot of options for both the free and the pro plan including display, print and security settings. Your address is easy to get to and you decide what requires a password or not. The only thing I can see it lacking for you is the videos section, they do allow embedding videos from youtube (and other video sites), but they don’t have a video upload feature, so you’ll still have to work on 2 different sites, but your family members won't have any problem since the videos appear on the site. Some other sites to consider: Flickr (No Blogging, no security settings, great slideshow, great interface) Wordpress

Can you blog more than one photo from Flickr? I'm at work on my work computer right now, and before I came to work, I loaded some pictures onto flickr so that I could do a blog post tonight. I can't save the pictures from Flickr onto the computer (I don't think Flickr will let me) so I'm blogging straight from Flickr. The only problem is, is that I would like to post more than one photo to my blog. I blog from blogger.COM, If that helps. Thanks!

In my point of view, it’s very easy to blog as many photos you want to post from flickr. If you use wp robot 3, it’s autoblogging software, it can automatically post all your required photos to your blog. If you wanna use this just visit . They’re providing wp robot for free with thousands of themes and plugins which you’ll love to use.
